Biography
Cliff Lynch, Vice-President
Lynch & Associates
Cliff Lynch
has over 25 years of success in the administrative/management field,
during which time he has been the General Manager of two upscale
homeowners' associations, a business owner and the superintendent
of Southeast Local School District. Throughout his career, Cliff
has brought astute leadership and focused strategic planning skills
to private organizations with budgets ranging from three (3) million
dollars to over nine (9) million dollars.
Cliff's experience
includes a solid base in community association management. He currently
holds the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager
(PCAM) designation from Community Associations Institute a national
trade organization, the Association Management Specialist (AMS)
designation, and he holds the Licensed Community Association Manager
(LCAM) designation from the State of Florida.
Cliff's most
recent experience (July 1999 - present) includes acting as the General
Manager of Indian River Colony Club, a unique, upscale homeowners'
association whose primary members include commissioned officers
of the nation's uniformed services. In this role, Lynch manages
a community of 789 single-family homes that operates as a private
corporation, and includes responsibility for residential operations,
country club operations, construction project management, and real
estate sales office.

Cliff also
served as the General Manager for Piper's Landing, an upscale
retirement community in Stuart Florida from June 1989 until May
1999. The functions of the General Manager were much like that
of a small city and included such things as budget preparation,
staff management, contract negotiations with outside vendors,
purchasing, public relations, work with governmental agencies
and staff development.
Before joining
Piper's Landing, Cliff owned and operated a small business. He
was responsible for sales, public relations, purchasing, staffing,
time management risk management, equipment maintenance and permitting.
Lynch also
acted as the CEO/Superintendent of the Southeast Local School
District from August 1971 until June 1978. He operated six separate
food operations at a profit, hired and directed professional and
non-professional staff, developed and implemented its annual multi-million
dollar budget, administered board and education policies, handled
risk management for all phases of the operation, developed successful
public relations procedures and kept open communication at all
times.
Cliff holds
a Masters degree in Education from Kent State University and a
Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Ohio State University.
He is also active in numerous professional organizations, including
Community Associations Institute (CAI), American Community Association
Managers (ACAM), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS)
and American Water Works Association (AWWA).
